LAU graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree (Honours) from University of Liverpool in 2018. After obtaining his Certificate in Legal Practice, he was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2021.

He chambered at Messrs LEE LAM & TAN and was involved extensively in land conveyancing, corporate banking, and housing development projects. Thereafter he continues practiced in Messrs LEE LAM & TAN where he was mainly concentrating on land conveyancing and banking.
